The DZM-5 Mini Herbal Pill Making Machine combines the advantages of multiple automatic pill machines. Material & Safety: All parts in contact with the material are made of 304 stainless steel and are removable for thorough cleaning. No cross-contamination occurs when producing different formulations.
Pill Diameter: The machine comes standard with a 5mm roller. Optional rollers of 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8mm allow customized pill sizes for production or patient use.

How to Use (Operation Steps)
- Place prepared herbal powder into the feed hopper.
- Start the machine; material is extruded into rods and automatically rolled into pills.

- After use, disassemble and clean all parts in contact with material.
Note on herbal powders:
- Sticky powders: add warm water.
- Non-sticky powders: add boiled corn starch or tapioca starch.
- Proper powder condition: forms a ball when squeezed lightly, crumbles easily when pressed.
- Pills may not form if powder is too sticky, completely non-sticky, or mixed too wet/dry.

Operating Process:
- The prepared pharmaceutical material is fed into the hopper, where the machine automatically extrudes it into uniform strands and continuously transfers them to the pill-rolling cutters. Pills are formed directly without manual strand handling or mechanical lifting.
- Using a biomimetic pill-rolling principle, the rolling cutters simulate traditional hand-rolling techniques. Multi-directional forces are applied to the material, producing smooth, round pills with uniform size and excellent appearance. The entire process generates no waste pills.
Variable Frequency Speed Control:
- A variable frequency control system allows precise adjustment of the rolling speed to match the extrusion speed. This synchronization ensures stable forming quality regardless of material moisture variations.
