What Is a Manual Ampoule Flame Sealing Machine
A manual ampoule flame sealing machine is a pharmaceutical packaging device used to seal glass ampoules by heating the ampoule neck with a controlled flame, ensuring airtight and sterile closure. The ampoule is rotated manually during heating to allow the neck to receive heat evenly, producing smooth, uniform sealing. This results in ampoules that are visually neat and aesthetically pleasing. The operation is convenient, requires no special skills, and is quick to learn, making it ideal for schools, laboratories, and small-batch pharmaceutical factories.
Working Principle
The machine generates a uniform and concentrated flame through controlled gas combustion. By rotating the ampoule during heating, the glass neck softens evenly. Once softened, the ampoule forms a smooth, airtight sealed finish after separation.

Operating Instructions / How to Use
- Connect the gas supply pipe to the gas inlet located at the lower right needle valve of the mixing tee on the back of the machine.
- Plug in the power cord into the upper right socket on the back of the machine.
- Turn on the power switch located at the upper right corner on the front panel.
- Slowly open the gas needle valve until the burner ignites.
- Slowly open the combustion air needle valve (located at the lower left on the back of the machine) until both burners produce long, thin blue flames. The longer and thinner the flame, the better the sealing performance.
- Place an empty ampoule on the tray first. Do not immediately place it into the flame. Check whether the flame is aligned with the center of the tray and positioned at the required sealing height. The height can be adjusted by loosening one adjustment knob on the bracket and tightening it after positioning.
- Place the ampoule filled with liquid medicine at the center of the tray and flame. Rotate the ampoule slowly and evenly with the left hand. When the ampoule neck becomes red-hot, use tweezers with the right hand to pull off the upper part to complete sealing.
- After finishing operation, first close the combustion air valve, and then close the gas valve.
