Working Principle & Operating Instructions
The FZH Quantitative Filling Machine is a piston-type liquid filling machine designed for accurate, repeatable dosing in pharmaceutical, laboratory, and chemical applications. Below are the standard operating principles and step-by-step operation guidelines to ensure safe use, precise filling, and stable performance.
1. Pre-Operation Preparation
Before operating the machine, ensure the equipment is properly grounded to guarantee electrical safety.
Select the standard syringe filling system according to the required filling volume:
- 0.2–1 ml → 1 ml syringe
- 1–5 ml → 5 ml syringe
- 5–10 ml → 10 ml syringe
- 20 ml model → 20 ml glass enema syringe
- 100 ml model → 100 ml glass enema syringe
(or dedicated stainless steel filling system supplied by our factory)
- 500 ml model → Dedicated stainless steel filling system produced by our factory
Correct syringe selection is critical for high filling accuracy and volume consistency.
2. Syringe Installation (Lower Assembly)
Remove the inner plunger (core) of the syringe. Slide the threaded sleeve onto the syringe core.
Important note:
For the 10 ml model, syringe outer diameters may vary. Select the appropriate gasket according to the actual outer diameter.
Secure the syringe core to the lower base using the threaded sleeve.
Always ensure the syringe components are clean during installation and removal to meet hygiene standards.
3.Upper Clamp Installation
Place the upper clamp seat over the outlet end of the syringe barrel (outer sleeve). Tighten the two nuts evenly.
When using a 5 ml syringe, install the sleeve together and tighten carefully.
Do not overtighten, as excessive force may cause the syringe barrel to crack.
Model differences:
The 10 ml model is equipped with an adjustment sleeve
The 20 ml, 100 ml, and 500 ml models do not require an adjustment sleeve
4. Injection System Assembly
Reinsert the inner syringe core into the outer sleeve, forming a complete piston injection system.
This completes the basic syringe assembly for the liquid filling machine.
5. Valve Installation
Install the filling valve with the arrow pointing upward and the arrow marking facing outward.
6. Mounting the Injection System
For the fully assembled injection system:
- Align the upper and lower circular holes of the injection assembly with the upper and lower fixing rods
- Slide the assembly onto the rotating bearing
- Ensure the outer end face of the injection system is flush with the bearing surface
During installation of the lower section:
- Prevent contact between the threaded sleeve and the crank mechanism
- Proper installation should maintain approximately 1 mm clearance between the sleeve and crank
- Incorrect clearance may cause abnormal noise or mechanical wear during operation
Once correctly positioned:
- Tighten both upper and lower set screws
- Connect the syringe outlet to the valve nozzle using a short rubber hose
- Connect the inlet pipe to the liquid inlet port and the outlet pipe to the discharge port
- Secure both pipes neatly into the side brackets on the machine housing to prevent tangling
7. Manual Operation Check
Manually rotate the crank handle:
- The crank should rotate smoothly and freely
- Any resistance indicates incorrect installation
If abnormal resistance occurs, check whether the injection system is properly seated and securely fixed on the rotating bearing.
