This is not only because the wire drawing sealing method has been used for a long time, but also because its practicality is relatively stronger than the sweeping and blowing sealing method. Now let's analyze the differences between the two sealing methods from various aspects. Sweep blow sealing is the process of using a bottle to rotate and a flame to blow and shape the outer wall of the bottle, causing the glass to melt towards the center and form a thick cap. The appearance of the sealed bottle is beautiful, with a smooth dome and no visible joint, but obvious layering can be seen from the side. If a thin low borosilicate bottle wall is used for sealing, the joint between the thick glass cap and the bottle wall will easily crack. If a medium borosilicate ampoule bottle is used, this problem will not occur; Of course, using wire drawing sealing method to seal low borosilicate ampoules will not cause such problems, because the flame head will swing upwards and will not stay at the melting point for too long. This is the conclusion we have obtained through daily experiments. The advantage of wire drawing sealing is that the thickness of the bottle wall after wire drawing will be relatively uniform, which is what we want. Some users need high temperature sterilization after sealing, and uneven thickness will cause breakage under pressure. Therefore, we do not recommend users who need high temperature sterilization to use the sweeping and blowing sealing method.

I have also said that ampoules without waste heads have no soul, but their existence is reasonable. Their appearance must have its value reflected, especially in research and development. The waste heads of wire drawing also have temperature before cooling, so not every one may fall steadily into the waste bin, sometimes falling out. It will also burn the floor. So in terms of experiments, the advantages of blowing and sealing are highlighted. Sweeping and blowing sealing also has its drawbacks. It can only be melted from the top of the ampoule, which limits the height of the bottle. If it melts too much, it will stack up unsightly, and if it melts too little, it will not be able to seal the mouth, which is a defect; Drawing sealing is different. It can burn any part of the bottleneck and then remove the waste head. The length of the sealed bottle can be controlled, which is also the reason why blow sealing is not widely used. After all, its function is limited. Positioning blow sealing in the laboratory is more suitable for research and development, simple, practical and convenient.
